Morning-after pill

Morning-after pill

The «morning-after pill» is used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or failure of a contraceptive method.

Despite contraception, an unintended pregnancy can occur for various reasons. Examples include taking the contraceptive pill irregularly, a condom breaking, diarrhoea or vomiting while taking the contraceptive pill.

The «morning-after pill» Norlevo or EllaOne can be taken 3 or up to 5 days after unprotected sexual intercourse and can prevent pregnancy.

Come and visit us at St. Johann Pharmacy and ask for the morning-after pill or a personal consultation. Our experienced pharmacists will be happy to advise you and will try to answer your questions as clearly as possible.
